The Iceberg of Spirituality
There are those times in your life when you just know that there is something bigger, you may think it, feel it or even experience it. This emotion is just the tip of “The Iceberg of Spirituality.” Uncovering and Unwrapping the layers of life. The Physical, Mental, Emotional, Energetic and Spiritual.
Trusting, believing, understanding, experiencing and knowing is the surrendering to it all…. Nothing is by chance, but you have choices every single day that you have your breath. Listening to your own heart of what and how you feel, going through the motions of your own intuition without the influence of others, the battle of what your feelings are versus what’s deemed “normal” in society has been one of my greatest challenges.
Throughout life, every God given day, we have to work on ourselves to pull out a better version of ourselves. There will be good days and there will be not so good days…. but, we need to be OK with the not so good days. I’ll use the analogy of food, sometimes we make better choices than other days. It’s about the balance of not letting the “bad” consume the “better”, that’s where we get stuck of not allowing forgiveness of self, of holding the guilt of, I Should have done better. It’s time to take the “Self-should” to “Self-Care”.
Release the responsibility of trying to constantly fit into the “Norm”. Start to pay attention to your feelings, your thoughts, your “gut” feeling. What others think, subconsciously will always be in the background, but when you truly start to understand the significance of honoring your choices, your reality, your visions and becoming so secure within yourself and respecting your values over others is when the beauty of surrender becomes your own reality of trusting yourself.
People always tend to pay attention when there’s success, but there’s always a story of how one has gotten there. Just like an iceberg, what you see is not what is always there. It’s always deeper than it seems. The growth of Spirituality comes when you acknowledge that when a plan doesn’t work out, it’s ok, don’t force the outcome, release it, have faith and trust that it will all work out the way that it’s meant to…….
