“Doing it scared is better than doing it brave.”

“Doing it scared is better than doing it brave.” The very wise words of one of my beautiful teachers during an interview that I had with her in the studio earlier today. Those words imprinted in my soul.

When starting something new or venturing into the unknown, for some reason we think we have to get it all right before we can start, to be perfect. We have all been in a place of not being able to move forward, in this place of fear, insecurity, not thinking that we are prepared enough or even not being able to “get out of a rut”. When this happens, there’s a trickling effect that blocks us from believing in ourselves. It affects us in all of our bodies of wellness and if not mindful, can overtake our potential of truly accomplishing our true desires, dreams and goals.

This is the point where you take a reset, a belief in yourself like no other. Get the support that you need if you know in your heart, you need that extra guidance. Start doing what you need to do. Step by step. This is when you have to dig deeper than the last time, and remember that this time is a whole new chapter because where you are now is exactly where you are meant to be.

There’s a blue print plan that’s already there for us and in my experience one of the only ways to believe that is to trust, surrender and release the control of being perfect to start. Be perfect with your imperfections. When it’s not going your way, that’s ok, there’s something else waiting for you. This time, know it’s only you who can change the outcome. Be still and listen to that little voice inside you, telling you to keep on going and know that what’s meant for you will find it’s way back to Belief.

“Whatever it takes for you to believe that you’re better than good enough to achieve your dreams is what you must do. Remember your greatness in a not tied to any outcome. It is found in the valiance of the attempt.” D. Goggins
