A Woman makes a Plan (by Maye Musk) A Summary…

I loved every word of this book….. It was an easy read and resonated so much with me with regards to loving myself more as I get older and helping to guide my clients to accept the aging process gracefully. Life is short and it is what you make it, but……. “YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PLAN TO MAKE A CHANGE.”

Here goes………

  1. Life keeps getting better.

  2. It is better to be interesting than to be beautiful.

  3. You don’t have to be stylish. Just find a stylish friend.

  4. Makeup can change your look and mood.

  5. Walk tall and be considerate.

  6. Go your own way.

  7. Plan for the expected and be ready for the unexpected.

  8. Say YES to opportunities.

  9. Take charge of your own life and aim for happiness.

  10. Address your problems.

  11. Lead by example.

  12. If children show interest, encourage them.

  13. Say YES to make your life more interesting.

  14. Take a chance, you can always return.

  15. Appreciate good deeds.

  16. The harder you work, the luckier you get.

  17. Persistence leads to success.

  18. Don’t wallow in disappointments.

  19. Starting over could be the best thing that you can do.

  20. Push your boundaries.

  21. You’re never to old to learn a new technology.

  22. You can be happy in Love and you can be happy on your own.

  23. Plan your meals.

  24. There is no magic pill.

  25. Keep temptation out of reach.

  26. Choose activities that you enjoy.

  27. Healthy relationships are good for you.

  28. Keep smiling.

  29. Start Now.

  30. ……. and …….MAKE A PLAN TO MAKE A CHANGE.

There you go……. Easy, simple and effective advise. Will finish of my little blog today with my own little advise……. We all have a story, we all have chapters in our lives that may not have been completed, and that’s ok, you can choose to finish it, or move on to the next one, but one of the most important things that I have learned as I’ve gotten older is to never judge a person on the chapter that you walked in on. You don’t know what they have done, sacrificed to get there. As my very wise daughter always says….. “Mum, You do You.”
